I built The Hunt Buddy because I got tired of starting over every time I hunted somewhere new. New state, new rules, new seasons, new license pages, new species regulations, and then the same question after a successful hunt: who do I call now?
This site is meant to put all of that in one place. The Hunt Buddy helps hunters plan by species and location, check conditions, understand seasons and rut timing, find nearby processors, taxidermists, and blood tracking dogs, and get straight answers through Ask Huck. It is built to be practical, local, and useful before the hunt and after the shot.
I wanted a simple, reliable resource that helped real hunters make better decisions without digging through ten different websites, Facebook posts, and outdated phone lists.
Built in Pennsylvania by a hunter who actually uses it.
